Nehemia 8:8

AB	Toen Jesua en Bani en Serebja, Jamin, Akkub, Sabbethai, Hodia, Maaseja, Kelita, Azaria, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaja, en de Levieten het volk de wet verklaarden, op de plaats waar het volk stond.
SV	Jesua nu, en Bani, en Serebja, Jamin, Akkub, Sabbethai, Hodia, Maaseja, Kelita, Azaria, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaja, en de Levieten onderwezen het volk in de wet. En het volk stond op zijn standplaats.
WLC	וַֽיִּקְרְא֥וּ בַסֵּ֛פֶר בְּתֹורַ֥ת הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים מְפֹרָ֑שׁ וְשֹׂ֣ום שֶׂ֔כֶל וַיָּבִ֖ינוּ בַּמִּקְרָֽא׃ ס
Trans.	8:7 wəyēšû‘a ûḇānî wəšērēḇəyâ yāmîn ‘aqqûḇ šabəṯay hwōḏîyâ m^a‘ăśêâ qəlîṭā’ ‘ăzarəyâ ywōzāḇāḏ ḥānān pəlā’yâ wəhaləwîyim məḇînîm ’eṯ-hā‘ām latwōrâ wəhā‘ām ‘al-‘āməḏām:

AC	ח ויקראו בספר בתורת האלהים מפרש ושום שכל ויבינו במקרא {ס}
ASV	And they read in the book, in the law of God, distinctly; and they gave the sense, so that they understood the reading.
BE	And they gave out the words of the book the law of God, clearly, and gave the sense of it, so that their minds were able to take it in.
Darby	And they read in the law of God distinctly out of the book, and gave the sense, and caused [them] to understand the reading.
